Each member of the South Carolina School of the Arts faculty shares a commitment to teaching and a dedication to our students’ success. Each is also an active artist and leading professional leader in his or her field of practice, working in-studio, exhibiting widely and regularly on state, national and international levels, and are represented among numerous public and private collections.
Our faculty includes Fulbright scholars; a Fellow of The Explorers Club international multidisciplinary professional society; holders of many prestigious arts residencies and fellowships; authors who publish in national and international scholarly journals; and winners of multiple university- and state-level teaching awards. You’ll engage with them in studio and in small classes, where you can count on one-on-one guidance and professional mentorship.
