3D Studies
BA Art: 3D Studies
Minor: 3D Studies
As a 3-Dimensional Artist, you’re entering an era of possibility: where traditional craftsmanship meets digital innovation, opening up unprecedented creative potential like we’ve never seen before.
You’ll have the freedom to engage tactile, hands-on problem-solving, conceptual thinking, and personal exploration through countless, intersecting disciplines. Your career will likely involve multiple facets too: exhibitions, commissions, gallery sales, residencies, fabrication for others, and possibly even teaching.
Our BA Art: 3D Studies program will prepare you for this boundless landscape as a professional artist with personalized faculty mentorship and a community of peers. Through one-on-one personal relationships, we’ll help you discover who you are as an artist, develop your own style and artistic voice, and confidently enter the field of your choosing.
Through hands-on making in the studio, you’ll be equipped with essential hand skills and cutting-edge digital techniques, balancing traditional craftsmanship with modern technologies. You’ll be prepared with experience in a variety of mediums (such as mixed media sculpture, ceramics, metal, wood, fabric, textiles, found materials, etc.) as well as professional development to lead a thriving art practice.
