Organization

Clay Collective is an open-to-all SGA organization that gives students hands-on experience with the full ceramic process, from forming and glazing pieces to kiln firing and selling their work.

What We Do

The group provides opportunities such as workshops, visiting artists, conference trips, and professional development experiences. Its goal is to support students as they develop technical skills, artistic voice, and confidence within the ceramics community.

Benefits

Members gain access to studio experiences, professional development opportunities, and funding support for internships, residencies, conferences, and applications. 

Roles

Roles typically include leadership positions such as club officers (president, vice president, treasurer, etc.), as well as active member roles like studio assistants, event helpers, and participants in workshops and sales. These positions allow students to take ownership, contribute to events, and support the functioning of the group.
