Bio

Art has been at the center of Stan DuBose’s life—as both an educator and a practicing artist. Throughout his career, he has been passionate about helping others discover the joy of creating, develop confidence in their abilities, and find their own unique artistic voice.

Stan taught visual arts at both the elementary and middle school levels and served as Lead Visual Art Teacher for his district for more than twenty years. While he valued mentoring teachers, supporting curriculum development, and strengthening arts programs, his greatest reward was working directly with students. He believes meaningful learning happens when students are encouraged to experiment, take creative risks, and express themselves in a supportive environment.

As a practicing artist, Stan brings that same curiosity and commitment to lifelong learning to his own studio practice. His work reflects a deep belief in the transformative power of creativity and the importance of continuing to explore, question, and grow as an artist.

For Stan, art is more than a form of expression—it is a way to inspire, connect people, and encourage us to see the world from new perspectives.
