I have been known to...
Collect Star Wars LEGO sets, get way too excited about tacos, and use mild sarcasm too early in the morning. Some know me for being calm in a crisis situation, for simultaneously thinking creatively and analytically, or for focusing on big ideas while also minding important details. I wear a lot of hats and sometimes think of myself as a human Swiss-Army Knife. Fun facts: I began teaching at the college level just after I started grad school, less than a year after finishing college. I used to hold an unofficial world record in Tetris. My treehouse can comfortably sleep four adults. I have never drunk a cup of coffee.
I’m inspired by...
So many things... my amazing wife and kids... my incredibly creative colleagues... unexpected uses of materials, techniques and ideas in art... simple acts of kindness... the grand majesty of God's creative design.
