And with today’s demand for art educators at all grade levels, there has been no better time to cultivate imagination and creativity in the next generation, than now.
The BA Art Education (K-12) prepares you to be equipped and to grow as an “artist who teaches.” You’ll combine challenging art studio courses with hands-on classroom experience, take both education and art education courses, and leave with a South Carolina K-12 teaching certification. From day one, you’ll receive faculty mentorship through graduation, connecting you with professional networks while nurturing your creative practice. Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to teach in both K-12 public and private schools.
